When we moved to Arlington, we were looking for a new veterinarian. At the time of my search, I read about a new Clarendon Animal Care (CAC) opened by two local women, so I made an appointment. After our first visit with Dr. Gloor, I knew we had found the perfect place for our sensitive pup! Through the years we have met so many awesome doctors, vet techs, and office staff at CAC (both North and South locations). We appreciated the commitment to top notch care, the attention to the details, and the clean environment. After every visit, we would receive a summary of the appointment and next steps. I don’t think we ever had an appointment where we didn’t have a follow-up call to check-in on how our Bella was doing and/or summarize lab results. I also appreciated the online portal and having access to the appointment history. When Bella’s health required a specialist, we had to visit a different veterinarian’s office (this other office left a lot to be desired). I found myself comparing the level of care to CAC. CAC was indeed the gold standard. Thank you CAC team for your kindness through the years and for helping our pup be her best!

The team at both Clarendon Animal Care north and south have been SO incredible in caring for our two cats over the past 2 years. One of them in particular has had a lot of health issues this year, going to numerous appointments at both locations as well as dental extractions at the North location. The office itself has an extremely calming atmosphere and really takes pet comfort into consideration. Dr. McCrory has been so diligent in every single appointment and made us feel so comfortable and apart of the medical decision making process. He is so good with our cats and they love coming to see him. Our toothless cat is thriving now, and it’s really due to Dr. McCrory, the vet technicians, and everyone else on the incredible team who has treated him. Thank you so much♥️ We HIGHLY recommend this office, your pets will be in such good hands!

We recently switched to Clarendon Animal Hospital after going to another vet for more than a decade for our other dogs. I didn’t expect to make the switch but we were so impressed after our dog was neutered here (thru Lab Rescue LRCP). I didn’t know such a calm place existed! They have a very caring staff, excellent doctors, and a stress free environment. Highly recommend!

We have been clients for years, driving an hour+ so our fear reactive dog could get the medical care he needed. Everyone, from front desk staff to the vets, are exceptional. We have adopted rescues and fostered dogs for decades. Over that time, we’ve worked with many vets, specialists, and practices. This is our favorite vet practice of all. We delayed a relocation so our dog could continue to be treated by them. He has since passed due to age-related cancer of his spleen. If not for this practice, his reactivity would have prevented us from even getting him vaccinated. They worked with us to develop a plan to treat him, adjusting as needed over the years. We are forever grateful for everyone at both Clarendon Vet locations. This is an amazing place staffed with people passionate about providing excellent care for the animals they treat and their human guardians.

We were very fortunate to find CAC South when we adopted our first extremely anxious rescued doggo eight years ago. The benefits of No Fear veterinary care for nervous and traumatized animals cannot be overstated. Lina and Dr. Taylor always take time to help our girls settle down and see them as friends and take very creative steps to minimize the invasiveness of exams, all while providing the most dedicated quality of care I’ve ever experienced with veterinary professionals. I can’t imagine being a dog mom without them and CAC South.

I’ve gone to many vets since 2011 as we’ve moved around a lot in the military and this is one of the most attentive, patient, and professional vet offices we’ve had. I have several anecdotes that have shaped my positive opinion especially about Dr. Gotlieb’s excellent care for my dog, but I’ll recount a recent admin experience here: while taking care of an unrelated request for me over the phone, the front desk staff member noticed my dog’s chip number wasn’t on a couple certificates in our file, made the correction, and went back to check the info was on all my dog’s other paperwork as well. I was really grateful for his initiative and attention to detail. I totally recommend Clarendon Animal Care North!

The reception is amazing and very welcoming. Always having a smile on their face and making it super comfortable for our pups. Vets are scary as it is and Clarendon Animal Care makes it easy breezy for us and them. We will miss Dr. Lockhart as she was very attentive, caring, sweet, and loving with both our senior pup and our silly girl.

Dr. Kerry Skorup and the associates here are wonderful. My male has terrible anxiety and has had his days being in pain with allergy flair ups, but as soon as I ask if he wants to see Dr. Kerry (he is well aware of people by name) he runs to the door and gets impatient if I take too long. The team has collectively adapted to his needs, have done everything they can to narrow down his reason for flair ups and is always so pleasant. My male is not generally good with strangers, but has taken a liking to others here. He has his hesitations, but I feel comfortable knowing he will be okay with any of the ladies that come in the room. He doesn’t just go up to anyone, but is very different here. This is a great place to go for those that need that extra love and attention like my boy does. He naturally gravitates towards more females, loves praises and gets to know people by name. Their compassion is very evident in their actions and the time they spend with you. This place has been one of the best veterinary offices I have been to with him.

My partner and I are new puppy owners and have had the best experience with Clarendon Animal Care! Our puppy Mabel has seen both Dr. Cunha and Dr. Plough and both have been fantastic. Mabel is well taken care of here and loves coming to visit the office. So happy with our decision to receive care here!
